Beginning in 2026, our Firey Trails venue will throw its hat into the ring as an EVENT PLACE Rental. So instead of meeting in a restaurant meeting room (where the restaurant provides the food), a community center of VFW hall, a church fellowship hall or a swanky higher priced party place, Firey Trails with a full kitchen can provide a festive and scenic atmosphere where a variety of events can be held or just because you'd like a place bigger than your house in which to meet.

The fee will be $250 for a four hour time frame for everything - setup-gathering and dining-cleanup. We will of course prepare and clean the pavilion and full kitchen. We will also clean and supply the two freestanding modern restrooms nearby. We will open the gate at the right time, turn on the lights and warm up or cool down the facility beforehand.

As in regular Firey Trails events, the person renting our facility needs to provide the paper plates, plastic cups and cutlery with napkins for their gathering along with ice and beverages and condiments and of course their own food theme or potluck dishes. (We now supply a stock of paper and plastic dinnerware and to-go containers for your convenience for purchase in our kitchen, should someone forget to bring an item.) Renter is free to use Firey Trails kitchen equipment and kitchen ware but all must be cleaned and put back. We will be renting a clean pavilion and kitchen but request that both be restored to their original configuration and cleanliness before a group leaves. We will have large plastic trash bags for your use and will dispose of your bagged trash and garbage after your event.

Payment is to be received by Firey Trails before your event starts. Someone will be on hand to meet you and receive payment, We prefer cash or check but can process a Square CC with a 3.75% convenience fee added on to offset the processing fee charged us. The Event Place Rental will be put on a calendar similar to our other events now and Event Place times blocked on our main calendar. We will require a $100 deposit for any first time renter as we do for any first time guest. This "good faith" deposit not only holds your reservation but applies to your event balance and is also not refundable (unless we know one month before your date that you wish to cancel your plans.)

For now, we will offer an EVENT PLACE rental only in daylight hours from 12:00-4:00 or 1:00-5:00 (or a four hour time frame before) on the weekend (Friday-Saturday-Sunday) but are open to day or evening four hour time frames Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Wednesday evenings are not available because of a weekly Bible study held there.

So how is this different than a regular Firey Trails event? For one thing, no one from Firey Trails will be on hand to work your event, stoking the fire (if there is one) or keeping trash processed, etc. And the preparation and use of the fire pit is not included in the $250 price but can be added for $50 more. We will prepare and start the fire pit in the middle of the 5-bench seating and someone from your group can maintain it from our wood pile nearby. Our propane grill can be rented for $30. Both the fire pit and propane grill are to be arranged for in advance so both can be prepared and ready for you.

Other Firey Trails activities (exploring the grounds and trails, the petting zoo, catch & release fishing for ponds, south field volleyball & basketball, and LED wagon rides) are not included in our Event Place Rental. The renter and group only shall have access to the immediate grounds which include, parking, the pavilion, the full kitchen, freestanding restrooms, picnic tables on the south side of the pavilion on a nice day, little kids play area and the nearby Timberhouse. Free roaming of the private grounds including the walk and plank bridges beyond these areas being rented that day is prohibited. Your group can also enjoy the 5-bench seating around the fire pit if the additional fire was purchased.

Renter and group are free to use our Wifi, big screen TV and Bluetooth speaker if needed at no cost. Also, you can have as any guest as you would like for your event. The pavilion can hold 80-85 comfortably and there's plenty of folding tables and chairs. (We ask that if they are moved around, the original configuration is restored before you leave.) Event Place rentals are a flat rate and not priced incrementally per the number of people total - as our Firey Trails events are priced. In theory, should you need more room than your house, you could have a large Thanksgiving gathering in the pavilion on Thanksgiving Day while we enjoy our own Thanksgiving gathering in our own house nearby. You can even potentially tune into the game on the big screen TV.

We think there is a real need for more Event Places in the area and we are hoping that people will enjoy this new addition to our offerings besides our regular Firey Trails events we have hosted for many years. Thank you.

The Fire Pit with 5-bench seating is an optional area for an additional $50 (Please read about exclusions above.)
